We share discoveries at Lakeridge Winery, the largest winery in Florida, situated among the rolling hills of Clermont, about a half-hour drive north of Orlando. Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards offers complimentary winery tours and wine tasting seven days a week that last approximately 45-50 minutes with a guided walking tour of the facility, followed by tasting their unique wines. The native varieties of the red Noble, bronze Carlos, and Welder Muscadines, along with the production of Vinifera grapes including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon are all produced at the 127-acre Lakeridge Winery Estate. We highlight the uniqueness of growing and making wine from the muscadine grape native to the Southern United States, and unlike a majority of European varietals, it can thrive in the hot and humid Florida climate. The biggest winery in the state, Lakeridge’s sister winery, San Sebastian, is ranked a close second. Have you had any Florida adventures?
