Which of these four wineries would you most like to visit? Share with us in the comments below! In this video, we share highlights from visiting four different wineries in northern Sonoma County, California, around the towns of Windsor and Healdsburg, which are all part of the Foley Food & Wine Society. Our stops include:
1. Foley Sonoma – The winery and tasting room building won the Architectural Design Award for Northern California by AIA and is where Bill’s daughter, Courtney, started her winemaking journey.
2. Lancaster Estate – 53-acres of vineyards are born from the rich, volcanic soils and rolling hillsides of Alexander Valley that create ideal growing conditions for Bordeaux varietals, especially Cabernet Sauvignon.
3. Chalk Hill – Perhaps no other winery captures the casual luxury of Sonoma County better than Chalk Hill Estate and its spectacular 1300-acre property featuring 300 acres of vineyards, wilderness areas, winery, hospitality center, culinary garden, stables, and equestrian pavilion.
4. Roth Estate Winery – Nestled in the southern reaches of Alexander Valley, Roth’s home vineyard is comprised of rolling hills nearby lowland sites nearby to the Russian River, along with a wine cave on the estate that hosts both member and private events.
Founded by Vintner Bill Foley, the Foley Food & Wine Society is dedicated to uniting three of life’s biggest passions: world-class wines, exquisite food, and amazing experiences.
